The FRIC Center for Financial Frictions is happy to announce that the paper Highly Liquid Mortgage Bonds Using the Match Funding Principle by FRIC center member and Associate Professor Jens Dick-Nielsen and his co-author Jacob Gyntelberg, Nordea has been published in the Quarterly Journal of Finance and is available through Open Access.

The research article documents the remarkably robust liquidity of Danish mortgage bonds during the Great Financial Crisis which speaks in favor of the match funding principle and the strong creditor rights embedded in the Danish mortgage system.
