Paper by Lasse Heje Pedersen wins Brattle Distinguished Paper Prize 2018

The article ‘Efficiently Inefficient Markets for Assets and Asset Management’ by Professor Lasse Heje Pedersen, CBS, and co-author Nicolae Garleanu, University of California, has won one of the two ‘Distinguished paper prizes’ from the Brattle Group Prizes in Corporate Finance.

The Brattle Group Prizes are awarded annually for outstanding papers on corporate finance. The winning papers are chosen by the Associate Editors of The Journal of Finance and the amounts of the prizes are $25,000 for first prize and $10,000 each for two distinguished papers.

The prize was awarded at the AFA's annual meeting in Atlanta on January 5, 2019. The Journal of Finance is widely regarded as one of the world's top three journals in finance.
