Three Adjunct Professors Discuss Alternative Investments
Monday, August 24, 2020 - 08:00 to 10:00
The Pension Research Centre (PeRCent) and The Department of Finance at CBS are proud to announce the event:
Three Adjunct Professors Discuss Alternative Investments
With record low interest rates and the stock market near its highest level ever, pension companies have increasingly sought alternative investments (real estate, private equity, windmills, direct lending, etc.) in an effort to generate attractive returns. At the same time, alternative investments involve very specific issues and risks in relation to governance, valuation and how this new asset class is supervised.
By September 2019, Danish pension funds have invested more than DKK 800 billions in alternative investments, corresponding to approx. 20% of the pension sector's total assets.
So, please come to this on-the-way-to-work morning seminar at Hotel Scandic Falkoner, Falkoner Allé 9, 2000 Frederiksberg, on Monday August 24, 2020, at 8.15 am, where the Department of Finance in collaboration with PeRCent have invited our three adjunct professors to debate alternative investments: CEO Jeppe Christiansen, CEO Torben Möger Pedersen, and CEO Jesper Berg.
Professor Jesper Rangvid facilitates the event which will take place in English.
On behalf of the Department of Finance and PeRCent, CBS,
