Karsten Beltoft holds a MSc in Economics from Aarhus University (cand. oecon) and an eMBA from Copenhagen Business School.
Fields of interest: Strategy for financial institutions, regulation of the financial sector, the housing market, covered bonds and other ways of financing properties, valuation of properties and companies, the pension system.
Currently employed as deputy CEO at Forenet Kredit and part time External Lecturer at Departement of Finance at Copenhagen Business School.
Karsten Beltoft has more than 30 years of experience from the financial sector including positions as chief economist at Realkredit Danmark, CEO at Danish Mortgage Bankers’ Federation and senior vice president at Insurance & Pensions (industry organisation).
Written article on the Danish mortgage system in Finans/Invest and an article in the anthology: 8 perspectives on Danish mortgage system edited by Lennart Lynge Andersen, CBS.
