Peter Mikkelsen holds a PhD in Finance from Aarhus University, an MSc in Economics & Finance from University of Warwick/Warwick Business School (UK), and a BSc in Business Administration (HA) from Aarhus University.
His focus areas are Asset Pricing, Portfolio construction and optimisation, Time-series Econometrics, Model Estimation, Derivatives Pricing, and Dynamic Asset Allocation Theory & Practice
Peter has spent his 20+ years industry career at Deutsche Bank Global Markets, ABN Amro Bank, and Nordea Markets, working with derivative solutions, institutional client advisory and investment portfolio management.
Following this he was responsible for Nordea Group’s EUR 50bn+ investment portfolio, before he, in November 2022, became Founding Partner and CIO of a Danish boutique Brokerage & Asset Management firm, Fondsmæglerselskabet Marselis A/S.
Since 2021 Peter has also supervised MSc Business Projects and Masters Thesis projects with the CBS Department of Finance.
Peter supervises written assignments at MSc-level.
His main experience and focus is Masters Thesis supervision at the MSc in Finance & Invest-ments, and similar quantitatively focused degrees.
