Simon Nitschky Schmidt holds two master’s degrees:
• Cand.merc.(mat.), M.Sc. in Business Administration and Management Science, from Copenhagen Business School (CBS) in 1998.
• Cand.scient in statistics, M.Sc. in Statistics, from University of Copenhagen in 2012.
Simon is at the moment holding a position as external lecturer at CBS. In addition to this he holds a full-time position as Principal Biostatistician at H. Lundbeck A/S.
Simon has published several papers in “Journal of Affective Disorders”, ”Current Medical Research and Opinion”, ”Journal of Psychopharmacology”, ”Journal of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry”, ”International Clinical Psychopharmacology”, ”Plos One”, ”Schizophrenia Research”, and “International Journal of Neuropsychopharmacology”.
Simon has previously been teaching as teaching assistant and lecturer at Niels Brock from 1993 to 2009 in mathematics and statistics at high school level, and at CBS as teaching assistant and external lecturer from 1999 to 2012 in statistics at HA, HD, HA(psyk.), and cand.merc.(psyk.).
Currently not acting as supervisor.
Simon also holds “Pædagogikum” from Danmarks Erhvervspædagogiske Læreruddannelse (1996).
