Torben Vinter Søstrup holds a Cand.merc. in Finance & Strategic Management from Copenhagen Business School. Fields of academic interest include interactions investment theory and strategic theory, portfolio theory, strategic alliances, and mergers and acquisitions.
Experience teaching exercise classes and supervising projects at HA Almen (finance course). Supervisor on business projects for first-year master students on FIN and FSM lines. Supervision of master theses on the FIN and FSM lines, and examinator at the oral defense for master theses.

Currently employed as senior risk officer at Velliv Livsforsikring og Pension and part-time external lecturer at CBS. 10+ years of experience in the Danish financial sector within banking, insurance and pensions. Previous teaching experience includes over 9 years as a teaching assistant and external lecturer at CBS.
