Time Registration and Salary
Registration of teaching hours
All teaching activities (teaching, supervision, exams, etc.) are registered in the administrative system, Prophix. Working hours for part-time lecturers will be registered before the start of
each semester based on planned working hours.
Time Sheet Reports
You can always check your current timesheet in our Power BI system.
Emails will be pushed from the system 2-3 times a semester and the link is sent to your CBS mail.
We urge you to check the balance and activities to be sure that everything is registered.
Please note that you are the only one who has a full overview of all your teaching activities.
Maximum number of hours
If you think your teaching hours may exceed 500 hours, please contact the DVIP administrator,
Birgitte Hertz (bhe.egb@cbs.dk).
It is very important not to exceed the maximum allowed 700 working hours per academic year
(runs from 1 September – 31 August).
Salary
A number of teaching hours will be placed in your name in the beginning of each semester
(based on an estimation of your expected teaching, supervision, grading of assignments, exams, etc.).
These hours will be paid-out in 5 monthly installments (the autumn semester: September-January, the spring semester: February-June).
The salary is disbursed on the last working day of each month.
Please note that you will receive your pay slips in your e-Boks.
At the end of each semester, you will be regulated for the possible difference between
the expected number of hours you were placed with at the beginning of the semester and
the actual number of hours, which have been registered at the end of the semester.
The deferred salary will then be disbursed.
Your salary is calculated according to the circulars regarding external lecturers and
teaching assistants and CBS’ time management catalogue.
