In a newly published article in R&D Management, Associate Professors Evis Sinani and Bersant Hobdari explore how multinational enterprises (MNEs) manage their R&D investments in knowledge-intensive sectors within developing countries, even amidst political uncertainty. The study examines how political uncertainty influences R&D capital commitments across science-based and knowledge-intensive business services (KIBS) sectors, showing that while political uncertainty generally discourages investment, some sectors and host countries are more resilient. These findings contribute valuable insights for MNE leaders and policymakers, especially in high-stakes environments where strategic R&D investment can sustain growth and innovation. LINK
