Taking a point of departure in phenomenology my main research areas are cross-cultural issues in organisations as well as in international business studies focusing in particular on Asia. Combining anthropology and organisational studies in an international business context allows me to produce holistic studies of the relationship between economy and society with a focus on human agency. To me such a focus provide me with the possibility of analysing how humans organise and make sense of their internal as well as their external surroundings.
