MOOC on Social Entrepreneurship
New online open course MOOC on Social Entrepreneurship
ICM professor Kai Hockerts is spearheading this 12 week online course, where students learn how to create societal impact through social entrepreneurship (S-ENT).
They are introduced to S-ENT examples and guided through the process of identifying an opportunity to address social problems as well as outlining their idea in a business plan.
During the course students will form groups with other students online to identify an opportunity to create social change, develop a business model, and outline ideas in a business plan, which they will submit in the end to possibly receive start-up funding.
Besides CBS faculty, which includes Kai Hockerts, Kristijan Jespersen, Anriudh Agrawal and Sudhanshu Rai from ICM, the students are presented to social entrepreneurs and learn about their practical experiences.
The MOOC on Social Entrepreneurship is part of a series of MOOCs that CBS will launch during 2014-2015.
