Ahaana's primary research focus is partnerships for grand challenges where she specifically looks into Indo-Danish collaborations across water related issues in India. She investigates how different actors cooperate and collaborate at the grassroot level to form transformative partnerships. She is also interested in exploring intercultural dynamics between Indian and Danish stakeholders to figure out effective ways of managing tensions and conflicts if any. Ahaana has co-authored four sustainability-focused teaching case studies on Indian companies.
Prior to her PhD journey, she worked on two research projects investigating i) corporate climate action initiatives in India, and ii) investigating opportunities to scale climate technologies in India and the current Indian climate-tech investment landscape.
