My main area of expertise is judgment and decision-making, with a focus on the influence of affective reactions, risk perception and communication on behaviors. I hold a Ph.D. in Cognitive Science and a master's degree in Social, Work and Communication Psychology. I am interested in investigating how the way the world is communicated can shape peoples' perceptions and behavioral reactions to it, in particular in relation to sustainability. My research is rooted in quantitative environmental psychology and behavioral science but with an interdisciplinary outlook and applied consequences on peoples' lives. I mostly work with online, lab and field experiments. I am a member of the Consumer and Behavioural Insights Group (CBIG) at the Centre for Sustainability at CBS where I work on a project aimed at understanding consumers' information expectations and needs for sustainable food choices. I also work on projects related to (mis)perception of inequality and sustainability, climate justice, behavioral finance, mental accounting and prosocial behaviors (e.g., donation).
