Jesper Kollerup is a PhD Fellow whose research focuses on the acquisition and development of digital competences in business school faculty. He explores non-formal and informal channels of learning, and considers the temporal influence of learning under pressure, such as during crisis situations. His research also covers blended learning and student engagement, and he is generally interested in how people learn and how digital tools can be used as part of the learning process, and the implications that this has for the broader field of education and faculty development.
He has a bachelor’s degree in information management and a double master’s degree in management and economics of the creative industries, and he prefers using qualitative research methods in his work. He has also supervised students working on second year projects and bachelor theses and been responsible for creating and teaching the elective course: Collaboration, Decision-making, and Leadership, here at CBS.
Other areas of interest include social movements; artificial intelligence; space and time; and the connection that art, theater, and music has with education and lifelong learning.
