The Department of Operations Management at Copenhagen Business School would like to invite you to the 12th Supply Chain Leaders Forum at CBS 2023

UNBREAKABLE: BUILDING SUPPLY CHAIN RESILIENCE IN A CONSTRAINED AND VOLATILE WORLD

Over the past years, we have witnessed increased resource scarcity in production and supply management. The battle for talent is bigger than ever and supply chains are frequently disrupted by a lack of raw materials and other essential resources.

Managing and competing – supply chain against supply chain – in this environment is the new normal. Supply chain managers therefore must develop and unfold strategies for maneuvering in this uncertain world. Some would term this world the VUCA world, thus a world that is volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous. We would also see this world as highly constrained on resources, competencies, and by legislation, and these constraints are often hard to predict.

The theme of this year’s Supply Chain Leaders Forum (SCLF) is therefore to understand this new constrained and volatile supply chain world better and to present/discuss cases from research and practices of how to manage the supply chain for a winning performance under these conditions.

Supply Chain Leaders Forum (SCLF) is an event where we celebrate the importance of Supply Chain Management. An event where we unite supply chain leaders with supply chain students, theory with practice. Like the previous years, the event will unfold a combination of celebrating talent where we award the best of the best in industry and academia.

We identify the top-25 supply chain leaders in Denmark and Cand.Merc.SCM and HD-SCM students from CBS and likewise supply chain students from DTU will be awarded prizes.

Moreover, the event will contain presentations from professors from CBS, DTU and University of Warwick, who will share insights into their recent research projects within supply chain management.

The event will contain presentations from leaders in the field of supply chain management, who will share their insights into how they succeed to manage in a constrained and volatile supply chain environment.

Copenhagen Business School, 2000 Frederiksberg in Kiln Hall
Thursday, 14 September 2022, 12.30-17.30.
Check-in and networking/booth visits from 12:30- 13:30. Networking between 17:30-18:30.
