Markets and Valuation Group

Our group’s main object of interest is what we have termed ‘markets for collective concerns’. We study situations in which markets have been implemented as tools to solve environmental and social problems.

 

We pay particular attention to market design and other forms of expertise claiming to know how to make markets better work as means to solve various matters of collective concern.

 

Our research sits at the intersections of economic sociology, science and technology studies, and organization theory.
