Paolo Santini is a research associate (postdoc) at the Copenhagen Business School (Department of Strategy and Innovation). Before joining SI, Paolo obtained a Ph.D. in Economics from the Paris School of Economics (France) under the supervision of Jérôme Bourdieu and Thomas Breda. His Ph.D. thesis was centered on the study of the organization and membership of trade unions. In particular, he researched the compensation practices and the hiring decisions of American trade unions, and the characteristics of union members across 7 Western countries. During his postdoc, Paolo will work with Vera Rocha and Stefanie Sunao on the integration of disadvantaged groups on the labor market in the Danish context. Their research focus is primarily centered on the integration of refugees and ex-felons.
