Jan Rose Skaksen is member of the Government Forum on Growth

Scientists and leading enterprise heads are some of the persons who have found their way to the Governents forum on Growth.

One of them is Jan Rose Skaksen from the Department of Economics, where he is primarily occupied with economical politics and effects of globalization. Jan is furthermore former chairman for the Economic Council

For the present it is planned that the new Forum on Growth will advise the government for the comming year.

Denmark gently through the crisis

The goal is to get Denmark as gently as possible through the actual economic crisis and at the same time equip Danish economy for renewed growth.

In the description of the task put, it is stated: "We need to be prepared so the Danish society is ready for renewed growth, once the international economy gets up and running. We need to strengthen the Danish growth model and ensure that we are ready to create the jobs of the future."

The Forum on Growth begins its work at a meeting in the end of Septenber 2009.
