03/09/2006

On Friday 31 March 2006, 09:00 - 16:30 Center for Corporate Citizenship e.V. at Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt will host the international conference “The Bologna Accord & the Implications of European University Educational Reform for CSR Research” in partnership with European Academy of Business in Society and EFMD. The conference, being a part of a series of events on academic CSR research networking and coordination, will offer a complementary perspective to the first workshop of the series that Copenhagen Business School (CBS) organised in October, 2005. CBS’s point of departure was stakeholder theory, an ‘applied’ theoretical perspective and exposed it to comments and analysis by fundamental scientists. At the second workshop, ‘fundamental’ scientists will discuss their approach to CSR research and try to build bridges in the opposite direction. For example, how may philosophers, literal and visual studies, political science and economists adapt their research programmes towards the challenges of interdisciplinary education?
