Two CBS researchers are behind the new electronic journal Signs

Professor Søren Brier and Professor Per Durst from the Centre for Language, Cognition and Mentality (LaCoMe), together with several researchers from other universities in Denmark and abroad, have collaborated to create the new international scientific journal, Signs.

The journal deals with semiotics (the study of signs) and is only available electronically.

- It is, of course, a much easier way to connect people, and it is freely available on the Internet. The journal is directed towards people who are interested in semiotics. Semiotics is an important discipline in the analysis of advertisements and brands, says Søren Brier, and refers to the FairSpeak project and the studies of the relationship between language and mentality at the LaCoMe research centre.
