Sasakawa
Foundation provides grants and scholarships for the exchange between Japan and the Nordic countries.

The foundation supports research, development, education and teaching within the fields of medicine, humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, technical sciences and culture. The Foundation does not support participation in international conferences.

The Foundation expects to receive a report no later than three months after completion of the project/return from Japan.

There is no application form. The application must be written in English and must contain purpose, CV and budget. For applications about studies or stays at institutions in Japan references and proof of acceptance at the institution must be included.

Application deadline is 15 February 2008. Applicants will receive an answer to their applications by the end of March 2008.
