Workload

A large portion of the learning process takes place outside of class, so you should be prepared to spend some time reading before the start of the programme and preparing for classes during the programme.

  • Each 3-week and 6-week course is worth 7.5 ECTS credits - the workload is estimated to 206 student work hours per course.
  • Each 2-week course is worth 2.5 ECTS credits - the workload is estimated to 70 student work hours per course.

The estimated workload includes class participation, course reading, group work and exams/written projects.

Class attendance

  • 2-week courses: requires you to attend at least 80% of the class sessions.
  • 3-week and 6-week courses: class attendance is not mandatory. However, CBS Summer University is a very intensive programme, so we strongly recommend that you attend and actively participate in all classes.

Feedback Activity

Feedback is a part of all courses. Depending on the course the feedback will be:

  • feedback for all students: based on a test, quiz, group presentation etc.
  • individual feedback: in courses with a project exam or home assignment, you will get an approval of your research question for the project or assignment.

You can find more information about feedback in the course description.
