Florian Kock Wins the Prestigious Tietgen Award
Associate Professor Florian Kock has received this year's Tietgen Prize of 500,000 DKK for his innovative and comprehensive research on the pandemic and the tourism and experience economy. The Tietgen Prize is one of the largest and most prestigious prizes in the humanities and social sciences in the Nordic region.
Florian's research is impactful within and beyond academia: With a long list of publications in the leading journals of his discipline, he is at the top of his field of research, the most cited researcher at CBS in the last three years, and the recipient of large funding, national and international awards. Importantly, he has demonstrated that his research creates substantial value for Danish business and society, and he is frequently disseminating his knowledge in Danish and international media.
