Google Scholar contents

Google's robots scour the web for academic literature on publishers' and universities' websites. Here, according to their website, they find "articles, theses, books, abstracts and legal opinions from academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories, universities and other websites."

As a CBS student or employee, you get direct access to the paid articles in Google Scholar by activating a library link in the scholar settings. This way, you can see if CBS Library has paid for access to a certain article and download it immediately.

Hints from the librarian

Set up Google Scholar to show articles paid for by CBS Library:

  1. Go to scholar.google.com
  2. Open the menu
  3. Go to Settings
  4. Click Library links
  5. Search for CBS
  6. Choose Copenhagen Business School - CBS Fulltext
  7. Save

If you do not make that setting, some articles are only available if you pay for access.
