Historical publication series contents

Access to various types of printed publication series from Statistics Denmark.

These series are now discontinued but are available online through this website.

The main sites for statistics are now StatBank Denmark (Statistikbanken) and Statistics Denmark (Danmarks Statistik).

Statistiske Efterretninger

Published in the period 1909-2022. Contains annotated and in-depth information in text, figures and tables.

It consists of an older part across subjects (1909-1982) and a newer part divided into subjects and series (1983-2022).

Statistiske Meddelelser

Published in the period 1852-1959. Contains data from smaller studies, which in many cases have been repeated annually.

There is digital access to all publications from the period 1852-1959.

The series consists of 4 series with 211 volumes, divided into 1024 booklets. Each booklet deals with one topic.

Statistikservice

Published in the period 1975-2014. It resembles Statistiske Efterretninger, but has more detailed tables, e.g. locally distributed numbers and division into product groups.
