Financial Inclusion in a Cashless World
In this talk, Jonas Hedman, Mikkel Torp Thomsen, & Christian Kunsemüller will discuss how to include digitally excluded people. In a project funded by Copenhagen Fintech, they have engaged with people suffering from cognitive limitations and discovered some of their pain points when navigating the payment landscape. They will present a mobile bank prototype based on inclusive design and discuss what they have learned from the project
Jonas Hedman is a professor with the Department of Digitalization. In his research, he explores how innovation in technology affects and shapes the financial sector.
Mikkel Torp Thomsen works with project management and business development for the IT company SprintEins, which develops software solutions in collaboration with leading organizations and works with companies like Deutsche Bank to create accessible user interfaces
Christian Kunsemüller manages projects in the field of accessibility at the Danish Association of Youth With Disabilities (SUMH). SUMH aims for a future where all young people can live the youth they desire, regardless of disability, diagnosis, or chronic illness.
