Do you find it difficult to come up with keywords? Or are you tired of going through endless search results when looking for academic articles? Meet Keenious, the AI-based tool that helps you in the search process.

HOW IT WORKS

Unlike traditional search engines, Keenious focuses on prose text and saves you the trouble of thinking of keywords. Keenious searches millions of academic articles from OpenAlex and not the entire internet.

  1. Upload an abstract, a pdf, a link or your own text
  2. Keenious analyzes your document, compares it to millions of academic articles and identifies relevant content.
  3. You look through article suggestions and choose what you think is relevant.

WHEN TO USE KEENIOUS?

Keenious can help you when you dive into a topic you don't know very well.

It can also help you when you get stuck searching with keywords by looking for articles based on your entire text or specific parts of the text.

It presents you with subjects usable for further searches in traditional databases.

Because it's AI-based, which can sometimes make it difficult to know exactly what's going on behind the scenes, we don't recommend Keenious as a standalone literature search strategy. Use it as an addition to more traditional approaches.

Add-in in Word

Keenious can be used on its own or directly from Word. You can download an app in Word under the add-ins tab. In the results, you can instantly check if CBS Library provides access to the articles Keenious finds. And you can copy references into your document.

Can I use it in assignments?

Keenious does not contravene any of the restrictions imposed by CBS on the use of GenAI, so feel safe using it.
