Sudhanshu Rai judges the e-Yantra National Robotics competition at IIT Mumbai

Sudanshu Rai, Associate Professor of entrepreneurship and innovation, was a judge on the e-Yantra Robotics competition. The final took place at IIT Mumbai from the 18-19th of March (see video on the left). A total of 19,568 students (representing 4892 teams) registered to participate in e-Yantra Robotics Competition (eYRC-2015) in August 2015.  These were shortlisted through an online test to 3036 participants comprising 759 teams. These teams were provided robots through e-Yantra and the training through “Tasks” assigned and evaluated over a period of 4 months. They were distributed across 9 competition “Themes” drawn this year from the sphere of "Smart Services."
