MSC PhD Fellow, Sofie Elbæk Henriksen, receives the 2023 Fonnesbech PhD Award

At the annual CBS Award ceremony in November, Sofie Elbæk Henriksen, PhD Fellow at MSC, was presented with the Fonnesbech PhD Award 2023.
The Award, which was given to Sofie Elbæk Henriksen in recognition of both her ‘ability to publish high-quality research in international top journals, as well as her potential for conducting research with significant societal and academic impact’ and her demonstration of ‘a remarkable interdisciplinarity and ability to publish in a wide range of disciplines’, was presented in collaboration with the Fonnesbech Foundation and CBS.
Sofie Elbæk Henriksen’s PhD research examines the growing role and |
| influence of businesses in humanitarianism and focuses on Big Tech companies’ humanitarian engagement for refugees and migrants. Sofie will spend the year of funding that is awarded with the prize to immerse herself further in her research field and apply for postdoc positions in Denmark and abroad. She will also engage in teaching activities at MSC and co-edit a special issue with Professor Lisa Ann Richey and Dr Maha Rafi Atal. | |
