In order to obtain the PhD degree, Casper Berg Lavmand Larsen has submitted his thesis entitled: A Worker-Centered Inquiry into the Contingencies and Consequences of Worker Representation

Monday, November 28, 2022 - 10:00 to 12:00

Casper Berg Lavmand Larsen

Unions and workers’ prior experience with board-level worker representation (BLWR) play a key role in overcoming coordination issues ahead of first-time BLWR implementations, workers experience higher engagement and motivation as they are granted the right to worker representation, and BLWR firms hire more managerial talent internal the firm and provide more career opportunities for firm-workers consequently. These are all key findings from the three individual papers of my dissertation on contingencies and consequences of worker representation.
