The Tertiary Education Committee in New Zealand has appointed Professor Morten Lau as new member of the panel in Business and Economics for the 2018 Quality Evaluation of the tertiary education sector. The quality evaluation is held periodically (the last one was held in 2012), and the results of the evaluation distribute 55 percent of the Performance Based Research Fund in NZ, totaling more than 1 billion NZD over a six-year period. Members of the 13 peer review panels have been selected for their subject knowledge and expertise in assessment, and they will review an estimated 8,000 research portfolios from the 36 tertiary education organizations in New Zealand.
