New research finds that multilateralism leads to entrepreneurial opportunities

At a time when global governance is under scrutiny, this study finds that the multilateral system has positive economic impacts on member countries and their citizens. A country's membership in intergovernmental organizations (IGOs) like the United Nations and the World Bank enhances the entrepreneurial opportunities of its citizens. The study analyzes the entrepreneurial environments, connections to IGOs, and national policies of 68 countries over 19 years. LINK
