Outstanding Reviewer award from International Journal of Operations & Production Management

Andreas Wieland, Associate Professor of Supply Chain Management at CBS, has won an Outstanding Reviewer award from the International Journal of Operations & Production Management at the 2019 Emerald Literati Awards. The journal is a leading in the area of operations and supply chain management. Emerald writes that “reviewers are essential to the scholarly publishing process; academics rely on peer review to verify their research and add value to it through critical engagement before publication”. They also highlight that “reviewers are specialists in a given area of research and so are well placed to assess the soundness of an author’s work and share their own knowledge”.
