Keenious contents

Keenious is a discovery tool like the EBSCO databases, Libsearch, and Scopus. But unlike these, all you need to get started with Keenious is a piece of prose. No need for keywords or Boolean operators, just prose.

You can use Keenious at all stages of your research process. From very early on, to find inspiration for a topic or ideas for how to tweak a topic that you have already settled on, to more mature stages, where you need help identifying relevant scholarly articles for a fully developed idea or disambiguating particularly multifaceted research questions, that can be difficult to break down into meaningful keywords.

Keenious provides an intuitive interface to kickstart your research. You do not need a lot of expertise to get started —simply input your prompt and Keenious will find relevant content. A prompt in Keenious can be an abstract from an article that you have already identified as completely or partially relevant, or it can be something that you have written yourself, a synopsis or a quick memo.

Because it works very differently from traditional discovery systems and is based on coherent prose and not keywords, Keenious provides an alternative route to uncover valuable information that might otherwise be missed in traditional searches.

Hints from the librarian

Use you CBS e-mail and a password of your own choice to create a user profile.

We recommend Keenious as an add-on to more traditional approaches to scholarly research not as a standalone solution as it can be difficult to keep track of the inner mechanics of Keenious and thus difficult to explain to readers how you wound up with the selection of articles that you did.

Important: Although Keenios is AI-based, it does not contravene the CBS guidelines on permitted use of GenAI.
