Karin Buhmann appointed expert member of the Danish National Contact Point for the OECD Guidelines for MNEs

Upon appointment by the Government, Professor Karin Buhmann joined the 5-member National Contact Point for OECD's Guidelines (NCP Denmark) as an expert member as of 1 October 2024.

NCP Denmark is the key institution to support the operational implementation of the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises on Responsible Business Conduct, as well as handling complaints from affected stakeholders and others when the Guidelines are perceived to be breached.

The appointment has a three year duration. Professor Buhmann is well

acquainted with the work of NCP Denmark and the OECD Guidelines, having served on NCP Denmark 2012-2022 upon nomination by Danish civil society.
