Dr. Sebastian Zenker Promoted to Professor of Marketing and Tourism
It is with great pleasure that I can announce that my colleague dr. Sebastian Zenker has been promoted to Professor of Marketing and Tourism.
Sebastian was awarded the Ph.D. degree (from the University of Hamburg) on completion of his thesis on cities as brands. He then worked as a post-doc researcher at the Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Since 2014, Sebastian has been employed at the Department of Marketing at the Copenhagen Business School where he is now a professor of marketing and tourism. His current research interests are mainly on crises, over-tourism, place brand management with the special target group of residents and tourists, as well as consumer misbehavior.
Sebastian's work has been presented at various international conferences and has been published as book chapters and in peer-reviewed journals including, for example, Tourism Management, the International Journal of Research in Marketing, and Psychological Science.
Congratulations, Sebastian!
