Research, Organization and Innovation (RIO) semiar: Teis Hansen
Invitation to Research, Organization and Innovation (RIO) seminar on Wednesday, November 20
The seminar takes place from 13:00-14:30 in Kilen, room K 2.53
Topic:
From public investments in research and innovation to mitigation of climate change with Professor Teis Hansen. (Teis Hansen is Professor at the Department of Food and Resource Economics, University of Copenhagen, and Senior Research Scientist at the Department of Technology Management, SINTEF, Trondheim. He is a Semper Ardens Accomplish grant holder of the Carlsberg Foundation, currently leading the Green Transitions Policy Centre). Addressing the climate crisis requires all hands-on deck – not least researchers and innovators. It also calls for further consideration for how public investments in research and innovation are made. The turn towards mission-oriented innovation policy is one response to this, however, we still know little about how to prioritise public investments in research and innovation, also within the mission-oriented innovation policy framework.
