New IOA Podcast: Organisationers Verden (about organization and management theory)

At the Department of Organization, we continuously explore new ways of disseminating knowledge. One way to do so is through podcasts. This is why we now launch two new podcasts series. The first is called ‘Organisationers Verden’. It’s a Danish series that centers on key contributions to organization and management theory. The series contains short episodes about scientific management, the Hawthorne studies, the ‘garbage-can model’ of decision-making, institutional entrepreneurship, sensemaking, and much more. The episodes have all been narrated by researchers at IOA such as Emil Krastrup Husted, Peter Holm Jacobsen, Morten Thanning Vendelø, Signe Vikkelsø, Susanne Boch Waldorff, Eva Boxenbaum, Jesper Strandgaard Pedersen, and Frans Bevort. You can find Organisationers Verden at Apple Podcasts or Spotify.

The other podcast series is called ‘CBS Sustain’. It’s an English series concerned with sustainability and green transformation. The idea is to consider these themes from different perspectives, and to figure out how research conducted at CBS might help us advance the green agenda. For instance, what might it take to coordinate sustainability initiatives globally? What are the consequences of the war in Ukraine for energy transitions in Europe? And what is the (activist) role of researchers in terms of advancing the green transition? The episodes have been narrated by researchers and IOA and other CBS departments such as Stine Haakonsson, Kathrine Maria Lumbye, Jacobo Ramirez, and Emil Husted.

You can also find CBS Sustain at Apple Podcasts or Spotify.

Both series are produced and hosted by IOA’s in-house podcaster, Marianne Benfeldt Kellmann, in collaboration with Emil Nørgaard Munk from Teaching and Learning at CBS.
