Student assistants for Social Entrepreneurship Education Projects at Department of Management, Society and Communication at Copenhagen Business School


Department of Management, Society and Communication at Copenhagen Business School is looking for Student assistants to assist in Social Entrepreneurship Education Projects.

Deadline: September 10th, 2024. Please note that we are hiring on an ongoing basis.

We are looking for student assistants with an interest in social entrepreneurship to contribute to various projects related to social entrepreneurship education.

As a student assistant, you will be affiliated with Kai Hockerts and Anne-Karen Hueske and become part of an international team of student assistants working on several social entrepreneurship projects.

This includes projects related to fostering social entrepreneurship education across the Aurora European universities and supporting students in developing social entrepreneurship skills through a social business model competition, onboarding of professors from various Aurora universities using the platform and communication with CBS employees engaged in Aurora, planning and scheduling of meetings.

Student Position Announcement 1

Position Title: International Research and Teaching Cooperation Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with coordinating meetings for international research and teaching collaboration.
  • Support the organization of an international workshop, including paper submission and evaluation processes.
  • Aid in the writing of proposals for the MSCA Doctoral Network.
  • Support social entrepreneurship executive course development,
  • Carry our demand study for social entrepreneurship executive course
  • Engage in social entrepreneurship executive course advertisement

Student Position Announcement 2

Position Title: Research Assistant for Qualitative Analysis and Teaching Case Development

Responsibilities:

  • Support the qualitative analysis of reflection papers written by nascent social entrepreneurs, focusing on coding their competencies.
  • Assist in the writing and development of teaching cases.

Required Skills and Attributes:

  • Great interest in academic research, with potential interest in pursuing a PhD.
  • Advanced writing skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge about tools like Excel, NVivo, Max QDR or Qualtrics.

Salary and terms of employment:
Employment will take place in accordance with the HK organizational agreement and the Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Taxation and Publicly Employed Organizations (OAO-S Collective Agreement).
The salary amounts to between DKK 140.57 and DKK 147.46 depending on previous employment with office employment experience and level of education. Pension is paid if there has been 9 months of prior employment in the public sector and you are over 20 years old or have previously been covered by a pension scheme as part of a previous employment. The pension contribution amounts to 15% of the pensionable salary components.

It is a requirement that you are an active student at a higher education institution to be employed.

MSC is looking for a student assistant for a permanent position until you finish your studies.

Working hours: on average 11 hours per week
