Inaugural lecture by Annemette Kjærgaard
The event will take place at Kilen, Kilevej 14A/B, 2000 Frederiksberg, room KS43.
Digital transformation impacts every industry including Higher Education. This lecture focuses on the opportunities for better student learning that technology provides when used to enhance business and management education.
The massive increase in the number of students attending higher education has led to new requirements for rethinking teaching and learning activities in order to continuously strive for academic excellence of students and provide the capabilities needed to enter the world of work where job requirements are rapidly changing.
While technology creates only little or no value on its own, it enables new forms of teaching and learning that support engagement and motivation of students through active and interactive learning. Annemette Kjærgaard will illustrate how blended learning supports student learning for the 21st century and suggest new research agendas which involve pedagogy, technology and learning space.
Annemette Kjærgaard is professor with special responsibilities, PH.D and associate dean at Copenhagen Business School.
