AIB paper award nomination for Ivan Olav Vulchanov
MSC PhD student Ivan Olav Vulchanov was one of five nominees for the FIU/AIB Best Theory Paper Award at this year’s Academy of International Business annual meeting (AIB 2020 Online on 1-9 July) with his paper, “Translating between traditions: Setting an agenda for integrated language-sensitive research of global work”.
The paper is a conceptual literature review aiming to bridge language-sensitive research in two related, yet segmented, fields - expatriate research and international business and management studies. It was accepted in the competitive track “International business as translation: How crossing borders changes business” in the Academy of International Business 2020 Conference. |

The FIU/AIB Best Theory Paper Award ‘recognizes a paper that has achieved superior theory development’ and the finalists are nominated by the conference track chairs. While Ivan Olav Vulchanov’s paper did not win the award itself, the nomination is a well-deserved recognition of Ivan’s research, which is funded by the EU Horizon2020 Marie-Sklodowska Curie Action “Global Mobility of Employees”.
