Karin Buhmann becomes a member of the board of Ethical Trade Denmark on behalf of CBS

At the Annual General Meeting for Ethical Trade Denmark in May, CBS was elected a member of the Board, representing the 'public institutions' group. MSC Professor Karin Buhmann will represent CBS. The Board membership runs for two years. CBS/Karin Buhmann has been a deputy member of the Board since May 2023.
Ethical Trade Denmark was established in Denmark in 2008 and has since then aimed to increase knowledge and understanding of ethics and responsibility in trade among its members, who come from companies, unions, organisations, and public institutions.
In its strategy for 2024-27, adopted at the General Meeting, Ethical Trade Denmark focuses in particular on three areas: a just green transition; sustainable global value chains; and development through |

responsible trade. These are all areas well suited to the expertise and educational programmes at CBS and MSC, and Karin Buhmann is looking forward to contributing to the Board’s work with these strategic areas.
