Two MSC researchers receive Best Paper award at AoM
At the recent Academy of Management annual meeting, Associate Professors Minna Paunova and Maribel Blasco won the award in the category “Georgetown University Best Paper in International Business and Policy” with their paper “Social Exchange and Reciprocal Integration between Migrants and Locals at Work”.
In their paper, the two authors discuss the significance of the workplace and informal relations between migrant and local workers for understanding social cohesion and interaction. The authors ‘propose a novel approach to theorizing migrant integration by developing a social exchange framework on the relation between migrants and locals in the workplace’ and suggest a set of propositions for understanding the processes involved. The paper was also a finalist for the “International Management Division CEIBS Best Paper Award”. Read more about the awards here. For more information about the paper, please contact Minna Paunova, mp.msc@cbs.dk or Maribel Blasco, mbl.msc@cbs.dk.
