ABOUT CBS’ DEI ADVISORY BOARD
As part of CBS’ work with diversity, equity and inclusion, a DEI Advisory Board comprised by both internal and external stakeholders who can help to monitor progress and offer recommendations that will further improve diversity, equity, and inclusion was established in 2022.
The Advisory Board meet twice a year to discuss key developments and initiatives at CBS providing their unique expertise on the challenges and potential solutions CBS experiences in the DEI field. Recommendations on specific matters may be elicited from individual members on an ad hoc basis.
The principles of composition are the following:
- All members must have a deep understanding of DEI (either from theory, practice or/and lived experience)
- The Advisory Board must represent diversity on a broad range of parameters, e.g., age, gender identity, sexual orientation, trans/cis status, industry, ethnicity/race, nationality, disability, employment type.
- Three places are reserved for internal CBS representatives, viz. a student, an academic member of staff and an administrative member of staff from CBS
The Advisory Board have no decision mandate but will provide advice to CBS’ work with diversity, equity and inclusion.
