Educational Development and Quality
Educational Development and Quality is a specialized unit that supports and drives the work of educational development and quality assurance at CBS.
Educational development includes, among other activities, the enhancement of educational quality through evidence-based pedagogical approaches, accessible and inclusive design of learning experiences, and meaningful development of graduate competencies. We strive to seamlessly integrate technology and media products, ensuring coherence, leveraging the learning experience, offering more flexible and relevant education and fostering innovation and adaptability for teachers and students alike.
Quality assurance includes, among other activities, setting up and support of processes and procedures in CBS’ quality system, like programme directors’ reports and programme peer review as well as management of the quality assurance system, quality policies and national and international accreditations.
We provide a variety of different services, including:
- Development and training of teachers through courses, workshops, seminars, and consultancy
- The Higher Education Teaching Excellence Programme (HETEP) for assistant professors
- Offer inspiration for teaching methods and pedagogical development of courses and programmes
- Implementation of blended & online learning activities
- Support for the Edutech Tools in CBS’ portfolio
- Production of videos and podcasts for teaching and learning purposes
Educational Development and Quality offers a variety of pedagogical courses and workshops. You can find a list of these on our webpage. If a CBS unit (a department or a study program) wants a special designed course or workshop we can work it out in collaboration with the unit.
Our office is located at Solbjerg Plads 3, B 1st floor, room 1.16-1.27.
