Student Assistant for CBS Admissions

Then we have an available student assistant position for you!

The position is in CBS Admissions, part of Student Affairs, from 1 December 2024 to 31 August 2025.

CBS Admissions handles all applications to CBS’ full-time bachelor and master’s programmes, and we are looking for a student assistant who will be a good match for our team, support our daily operations and contribute to meet the high standards we set for our work.

Your tasks will primarily cover:

  • List-checking in Excel
  • Supporting the processing of applications in our admissions system
  • Supporting the team with administrative tasks
  • Sorting through and answering email questions about applications
  • Ad-hoc tasks including communication, coordination, information gathering and development

You must:

  • Be fluent in English and have at least basic working knowledge of Danish – it’s a bonus if you are proficient in another widespread language
  • Be an active student at least until 31 August 2025 – it’s a bonus if you study at CBS

We are looking for a student assistant who:

  • is stable, reliable, organised and mature
  • is patient, systematic and thorough
  • has a positive attitude and a solid work ethic
  • is a team player with experience of effective and constructive collaboration
  • has an interest in public administration or an understanding of administrative tasks
  • is computer literate and confident working with the Office suite (especially Excel) as well as other applications and platforms

Terms and conditions

The average number of working hours is 15 hours per week; however, there may be considerable variations according to our needs, particularly in lead-up to, or following, key deadlines.

The employment period is 1 December 2024 (or as soon as possible thereafter) to 31 August 2025.

You are an active student at an institution of higher education throughout the duration of employment.

Employment and remuneration are pursuant to collective agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the relevant organization, with specific placement contingent on qualifications and experience. The standard payment is min. 140.57 DKK per hour plus 12.5% holiday payment (“feriepenge”). Also, you may under certain conditions receive pension funds of up to 15% of your hourly salary.
