Student Assistant for statistical analysis/data management for a longitudinal research project at MSC, CBS


As a Student Assistant, you will be affiliated with Kai Hockerts and Anne-Karen Hüske and become part of an international team of Student Assistants working on social entrepreneurship projects.

This includes projects related to fostering social entrepreneurship education across the Aurora European universities and support research by collecting and cleaning multi-year longitudinal data as well as assisting the econometric modeling and statistical analysis of several different panel data sets.

The tasks will include:

  • Collecting and cleaning data, especially related to survey data
  • Organizing large panel datasets
  • Providing research support in statistical analysis and modeling
  • Reviewing academic literature

Highly valued qualifications:

  • Experience with statistical tools (in particular R and STATA)
  • Advanced in MS Excel
  • Detailed oriented
  • Interested in/experience with social entrepreneurship
  • Outgoing and service-minded
  • Focused learner
  • Punctual and accessible

Salary and terms of employment:

Employment will take place in accordance with the HK organizational agreement and the Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Taxation and Publicly Employed Organizations (OAO-S Collective Agreement).

The salary amounts to between DKK 140.57 and DKK 147.46 depending on previous employment with office employment experience and level of education. Pension is paid if there has been 9 months of prior employment in the public sector and you are over 20 years old or have previously been covered by a pension scheme as part of a previous employment. The pension contribution amounts to 15% of the pensionable salary components.

It is a requirement that you are an active student at a higher education institution to be employed.

MSC is looking for a student assistant for a permanent position until you finish your studies.

Working hours: on average 11 hours per week
