Student Assistant for Department of International Economics, Government and Business at CBS


We are looking to hire a Student Assistant, as our highly valued Student Assistant is finishing his studies this summer. 

Tasks will include 

  • Web editing: Updating EGB’s website and posting news on EGB’s LinkedIn profile
  • For the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT): Managing the application process, producing statistics on applications and results, and assisting on the test day and yearly committee meeting. 
  • For the Scandinavia-Japan Sasakawa Foundation: Stakeholder correspondence and marketing tasks. 
  • Misc. other tasks, such as: preparing workstations for new employees, assisting faculty in need of help with claiming reimbursements in the ‘RejsUd’ system, maintenance of our three coffee machines, etc.

What you should bring
The job requires you to have good communication skills and an eye for detail and thoroughness. It also requires you to have basic IT skills, web editing skills and English language skills. Danish language skills are not a must but an advantage. On a more general note, the job as a Student Assistant requires that you are flexible and able to quickly gain an understanding of new - and sometimes complex assignments. 

You are a socially competent, stable and adaptable co-worker who works well with others and do not shy away from new challenges or practical tasks.

Conditions of employment
You are expected to work 8 hours per week on average. 

Employment will take place in accordance with the HK organization agreement and the Joint Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees' Organizations (OAO-S Joint Agreement).

The salary is between DKK 141,14 and DKK 148,06 per hour, depending on previous employment and level of education. A pension is paid if you have had 9 months prior employment in the public sector or if you have previously been covered by an occupational pension scheme. The pension contribution amounts to 16% of the pensionable salary components.

It is a prerequisite for employment that you are an active student at a higher education institution or a medium-term higher education.

Interviews are expected to be held in the last week of April. Employment is expected to start from mid-May 2025.
